We had dinner at Cafetería Restaurante Tai in Nerja and it exceeded expectations. We tried several dishes from Menu A and B, including the Gon Bao Chicken (nicely spicy, but not overwhelming — think patatas bravas level), Fried Beef with Green Pepper (tender, flavorful, and well-portioned), and Thai Curry Chicken. The Sweet and Sour Pork was another hit — tangy, crispy, and satisfying.
Starters like the simple but fresh salad and flavor-packed spring roll set the tone. Don’t overlook the fried bread — crispy outside, fluffy inside, and great for dipping in sauces.
We dined outdoors, just a minute from Torrecilla Beach. The setting was charming with festive lights, plenty of plants, and a cool evening breeze that made it extra enjoyable. The place stayed consistently busy (a good sign!), but it never felt crowded. Even the teenagers in our group loved it.
Highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re in Nerja. Great food, great price, and a lovely atmosphere — we’ll definitely be back!- Tipo de comida

The food is tasty and the service is good, there’re Chinese food and Thai food, quite authentic, plus the boss there is really kind. It’s very recommendable, we’ll come back again to try more dishes when we go to Nerja.

The waitress was friendly and helpful, we had a great experience at this restaurant! We ordered three tofu dishes, vegetable sushi, gyozas and spring rolls. Definitely recommend all of these dishes, large portions and delicious.

She also stopped us when she reckoned we were ordering too much. We had chinese bread, sushi, an array of dim sum, fried rice and duck with pancakes. It was all delicious. I'm so glad she recommended we order a selection to share. The traditional desserts were beautiful and home made. She also stopped us from ordering too much dessert. Ate here a few times on our recent holiday in July. Large family of 16+ was never an issue all the food came out hot and on time. Service with a smile.. the bao buns and sushi was amazing. The curry was the best I have had. My children speak of this restaurant every thing they are asked about there holiday. Can't wait until next year.

Taken to visit this establishment last year with my sister, brother in law, Karen and Iian who are citizens of that area. Met up with long very and established citizens David and Rita. Both times have been a revelation in service, presentation, flavours…your there to enjoy the experience and no pressure to finish for the next sitting. The host/owner Iva is off the scale. Her enthusiasm to ensure everyone is happy, well fed with quality food, that they are happy in her home, because that is what it is. Don’t be surprised or shocked if she takes your mobile off you to take a photo or 2 , she is involved with your experience and pleasure. Had a fabulous experience here. Very good value for money. Lovely staff, great service, nice pace of courses arriving and calm relaxing space. We had a set menu but going back to br more adventurous. All courses very tasty. Soups fab, rice Noodles & sauces lovely.

My absolute favourite thai restaurant in Nerja, good food for a nice price. The people working here is very friendly and always makes you feel important. Really recommend!!! No pictures but have had a lot of great meals here!
